Couples Therapy
Relationships aren't always easy. Even couples who seem "meant to be" struggle sometimes. If you and your partner are going through a rough patch, feeling disconnected, or having trouble overcoming infidelity, you are not alone. Change and healing are possible.

I use Emotionally Focused Therapy, blended with other therapeutic models and techniques, to help couples find their way through challenging times. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a model that emphasizes connection, learning to be vulnerable, and being able to give and receive support. It is based in attachment theory and has been shown to be highly effective in helping couples become closer and overcome problems.

Although the length of therapy can differ for every couple, expect that therapy will take some time. It takes awhile for problems to develop, and so it takes awhile to work through them. Therapy requires commitment and can be challenging at times. While it can be tough, I work with you to overcome those challenges and develop skills for managing whatever new challenges might arise. Therapy is an investment in your future together, and while therapy isn't forever, your relationship can be.
